Where did you grow up?

I was born in Mexico, but grew up in Mcallen, Texas, a border town in the Rio Grande Valley.

What high school did you attend?

I attended Hidalgo Early College High School in Hidalgo, Texas.

What was your favorite extracurricular activity in high school?

My favorite extracurricular activity in high school was UIL Computer Science and UIL Math.

Why are you majoring in CS?

I love to program, it gives me joy. First fell in love with it during high school when I was first introduced to the program.

What are your expectations of this class?

My expectations of this class is to learn about software engineering and see how programs are created. I also want to learn python, since it’s the language that we are going to be using throughout the semester.

How did you like the two lectures?

They were great, the teacher was very kind, getting us up to speed with the materials that the class is going to cover.

What made you happy this week?

I bought my favorite food that they sell on the back of the CO-OP. The name of the food truck is called “Don’s” and they serve Japanese diner food. I always get the steak, even though it’s the most expensive thing in the menu.
