What did you do this past week?
What I did this past week is finish the second phase of our project and set reminders to do the peer review to my group and I. I also had time to catch up with my homework, but still had to suffer since it was a lot. I also went out to do some exercise since it has been weeks since I have last done some.
What’s in your way?
The things that are in my way right now is that my Chinese teacher is still giving us too much homework, which does not give me enough time to work on other homework and projects that are necessary for my major. I am also stressing out about my CS349 project.
What will you do next week?
I will be working on the new CS349 project that’s coming out. I am glad to hear from the professor that this is going to be the last project we do individually, but it’s going to take 2 weeks. I also wish to spend more time with my team for the third phase of the project.
If you read it, what did you think of Ethical CS?
It is something that we need to consider on many levels because everything that we do has some sort of outcome. We have to choose on what is right, what is wrong, what are the outcomes, and how will this affect us and others around us.
What was your experience of functions, lambdas, and decorators? (this question will vary, week to week)
It was first easy when we were discussing about it in the beginning of this week, but then it started to get confusing. I need more practice after class so that I can better understand.
What made you happy this week?
Some of the things that made me happy this week is that my girlfriend cooked for me, and it was really delicious. I also had some time to catch up on my sleep, and order tacos from my favorite place. (I recommend the “Gringas” and order them in a flour tortilla. p.s.: It has melted cheese)

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My tip-of-the-week is to drink more water since most of us just drink sodas and other carbonated beverages. We sometimes may have cramps and headaches due to the lack of water. We need to keep ourselves well hydrated and take care of our body.
